NORTHFIELDS CAST ANNOUNCED!
We’re proud as punch to announce our bunch of Actors who will be performing in our upcoming production of Northfields. We’re excited to get stuck into rehearsals in 2017!
Sarita Plowman as HILLARY
Sarita trained at ALRA and Central School of Speech and Drama and won the Lilian Baylis Award and
a nomination for the Carleton Hobbs Radio Drama Award - she was also selected to take part in The
Poel Event 2016 at The National Theatre.
Sarita has performed in various productions at The Globe Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, The
Hackney Empire, Theatre Royal, Bury St.Edmunds, for Channel 4 and on BBC World Radio.
As well as acting, Sarita took part in the Young Writers Programme at The Royal Court and was
subsequently invited back to develop her first full length play under the guidance of writer in
residence, Leo Butler. Three of her plays have been produced and performed in London.
Underpinning her work as actor and writer is a love of the art of storytelling.
Mark Perrett as MATT
Mark is based in London and graduated from Fourth Monkey theatre Company in 2015. Whilst
training he found himself in many challenging Productions such as ‘Don Juan comes back from the
war’ and ‘Tamburlaine the Great’. Since graduating, Mark has embarked on his career and has
featured in many productions such as ‘Skin Deep’ (London Horror Festival 2016, produced and
written by ‘Attila Theatre Company’) and short films such as ‘Smokes and Roses’ (produced and
directed by ‘Dmndclr’ production company) and ‘Bleeding ink’ (Met film School). Mark now is
focusing on building his career with his own material, as well as taking on the new challenges and

Rowan Douglas as NURSE ANNE
Born in Bristol and raised in Wales, Rowan co-founded Shrink after three years’ training in Repertory with Fourth Monkey Theatre Company in London. She discovered a love for clown and physical theatre over this time – a passion that has continued into her work with Shrink. Rowan has an interest in immersive theatre which, frankly, borders on the obsessive, and is always seeking new ways to involve an audience in a piece. Alongside her work as Producer on Northfields, she continues to pursue her acting career – most recently in ‘The Frogs’ by another Monkey Alumni Company, Attila Theatre. FOLLOW @RowanBeggs
Eleanor Cotton-Soares as SOAPY
Eleanor graduated from the Fourth Monkey 2 Year Repertory Course in 2014, where she studied the art of Clowning, Puppetry, Mask and spent a month in Italy with Commedia Dell’Arte expert Antonio Fava. Eleanor has played varied characters, from Satan in an immersive ‘Paradise Lost’, half a dozen characters in Marlowe’s ‘Doctor Faustus’, Michael in Arnold Wesker’s ‘The Kitchen’ and ‘Cook’ in Fourth Monkey’s sell out Edinburgh 2014 production of ‘Alice’. She has since played the lead in a new play for children, ‘Shattered’, and Hermia in Theatre in the Forest‘s 2015 Production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Eleanor is extremely excited for the future of Shrink Theatre and what it will bring to the future of theatre. FOLLOW @elcottonsoares
Bruce Kitchener as PORTER
After 35 years as a Special Educational Needs Teacher, Bruce took early retirement and trained at
Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, becoming the oldest student to complete their Post Graduate
Acting course in 2015. Bruce lives in North London with his wife, two adult daughters, a dog and two
Credits whilst training include Dr Stephen Crossley in ‘13’ (Unicorn Theatre), Lear in ‘King Lear’
(Mountview) and Dr Toby Sealey in ‘The Effect’ (Mounview). Post-training credits include The Judge
in ‘Toy Soldier’ (Brockley Jack), Mr Boo in ‘The Rise and Fall of Little Voice (Brookside Theatre) and
Frog in ‘Grand Concourse’ (Karamel Club) as well as a number of films including ‘Dusk’ (Dir Jake
Graff), ‘Transient’ (Dir Jerome Bell), ‘Do Not Disturb’ (Dir Lorcan Reilly), ‘Crimelook’ (Dir Alex
Thompson) and ‘All In’ (Dir Owyn Stephens).
Katie Cherry as NURSE ALEX
Originally from North London, Katie trained rep with Fourth Monkey Theatre Company for three years graduating in September 2014 after a sell-out run of the immersive , promenade ‘Alice’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in which she played Alice.
During her training Katie found a love for devising and creating her own work alongside training in clowning , movement , puppetry and completing a one month intensive Commedia Dell’Arte course in Italy under Antonio Fava.
Katie is also a member of The Actor Class London and currently working as part of the Tricycle Young Company Ensemble 2015/16. FOLLOW @hikatiecherry
Sam Adamson as EM
Since graduating from Fourth Monkey Theatre Company in 2014, Sam has been involved in various plays and films. This is Sam's fifth immersive theatre play, but the largest of this scale and message.
Sam was fortunate enough to win the off west end award for best supporting actor in The
Glasshouse, 2015. In this he played a character with shell shock, which helped prepare him for this role in Northfields. FOLLOW @Sam_Adamson
Anca Vaida as DR. HUNTER
Anca initially qualified as a doctor and worked as a psychiatrist for a number of years until she
decided to change career. She subsequently trained in acting at East 15 Drama School.
Her acting credits include Lash in ‘The Likeness’ (dir. John Mitton, Anne Bartram @ Sky Blue Theatre
Company), Chebutykin/ Kuligin in ‘.. Sisters’ (dir. Jamie Woods) and First Player/Lucianus/Osric in
‘Hamlet’ (dir. Petina Hapgood, The Dell @ RSC). Anca also has a keen interest in screen acting, having

Leanne May Bennett as MARTHA
Fondly known as ‘Lamb’, this co-founder is from the Midlands and trained in Repertory theatre, playing roles such as Piggy in ‘Lord of the Flies’ directed by Hamish Macdougall (Complicite) and Eve in Milton’s ‘Paradise Lost’ directed by Ailin Conant (Theatre Témoin). Alongside her work with Shrink Theatre, Lamb continues her practice as an actress with regular Meisner classes taught by Seb Blanc. And increasingly committed to creating/producing her own work, Lamb also helped run a successful crowdfunder for ‘No Epilogue’, a short film currently in post-production which she starred in with plans for a release in Spring 2017.
